Jun Lu, MBA
Mr. Lu is currently an investment associate with Vesalius Ventures, a venture capital accelerator focused in telemedicine and medical informatics technology. He has significant experience in the healthcare industry and in the China sector, and has expertise in business development, industry analysis, and financial modeling analysis and valuation. In this role he performs deal analysis and investment due diligence, communicates with founders and management teams of start-ups, provides business development consulting services, and conducts industry analysis. His client companies include a healthcare company with $4 billion in revenues and a $50 million revenue medical technology company. Prior to his work with Vesalius Ventures, Mr. Lu was a senior business analyst for Medical Design Technologies in Houston, was a healthcare sector analyst with the M.A. Wright Fund in Houston, and was an equity analyst intern for Boci-Prudential Asset Management Ltd. Mr. Lu received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business, where he earned a Jones School Graduate Scholarship. He also completed a Master of Science in Biomedical Science (MS) degree from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, where he earned a research achievement award. Mr. Lu completed his undergraduate study at Nanjing University in China, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Ecology degree and People’s Scholarship.
